There is something for everyone this weekend at Dodge City Raceway Park.

An action-packed weekend schedule starts Friday with a live musical

performance by Hutchinson-native country western star Jake Gill after

the 7 p.m. Driver/Fan Appreciation race.

General admission tickets to the race are on sale for $12 at the

raceway, and will grant the ticket holder access to the concert

scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m.

“We’re excited to have Jake and his band come play Friday night,”

Raceway Director Craig Dollansky said. “We want our fans and racers to have a great time.”

Gill said racing fans and country music go hand in hand.

during the week and good times on the weekend.”

Tickets to the Boot Hill Championship Finale at 7 p.m. Saturday and the Great Plains Predator Series competition at 2 p.m. Sunday are also on sale for $12.

Spectators will have the opportunity to talk shop with Dodge City Short Track Series racers behind the main grandstand Friday and Saturday starting at 5 p.m., where the young racers will showcase their carts.

Plenty more kid-friendly activities like a bike race and give away, as well as a candy and cash grab will fill Saturday with fun.

The raceway will also be present at the Main Street Festival Saturday

from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Kids are encouraged to put their pedals to the metal in a friendly competition between radio-controlled cars for a candy prize.
