For the fourth straight game, the Dodge City women’s basketball team had a contest that finished with late possessions deciding the game and the Conquistadors saw Seward County steal the contest with a three-pointer with .8 seconds left in the contest for a 63-60 final.
The baseball season is on the horizon and just around the corner for the Dodge City Conquistadors and the team heads into the 2022 season under new guidance. After a 21-30 record last year and just an 8-24 mark in the Jayhawk Conference the Conquistador baseball program made a change at head coach as Brett Doe has taken over the program.

Dodge City - Alexander Espinosa, 84, died January 21, 2022, at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. He was born on December 30, 1937, at Dodge City, the son of Alexander R. and Katherine (Delgado) Espinosa.
DODGE CITY - Icyl Irene Wood, 99, died January 13, 2022 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains, Dodge City. She was born on January 6, 1923 at Ness County, the daughter of Ira E. and Laura V. (Stewart) Baldwin.
