Better Business Bureau: Warmer weather brings out the blooming scammers

As the weather warms and the pandemic (hopefully) continues to wane, your Better Business Bureau (BBB) cautions that your doorbell may soon be ringing. It’s the season for door-to-door solicitors. Mixed in with the legitimate sales folks are the usual scammers. Sometimes the pitch is for driveway paving. Others want to sell you siding, windows, meat, security systems, or magazine subscriptions. Here is BBB’s advice on what to watch for and how to deal with them.

Pratt - Larry Ray Conkle, 70, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at Pratt Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 3, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida to Veryl and Winona (Chatelain) Conkle. Larry married Linda Gail (Herrman) Conkle on August 11, 1972 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dodge City. They were married for 49 years.
