Courtney McFall Coover

Courtney McFall Coover, passed away on March 26th, 2022 at the age of 75. Courtney was born in Spearville, KS on August 19th, 1946. His parents, now deceased, were William Coover & June Williams. All three of his siblings are living, which are his brothers Marcus & Jimmy Coover and his sister, Caressa Gresham. He married his wife, Connie Kingry, in 1968 and she died in 1983. He graduated from the University of Kansas and served as a medic in the Army, stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He had a successful career in Sales and spent the 30 years of his career doing home and commercial maintenance.

DCCC: Softball stretches win streak to 8 with sweep of Northwest Kansas Tech

Dodge City softball has rattled off eight straight wins and stretching out their win streak with two wins on Sunday in Goodland against Northwest Kansas Tech. The Conquistadors claimed a 25-14 victory and 12-1 win in five innings over the Mavericks of Northwest Kansas Tech to improve to 18-16 on the season and 12-8 in KJCCC play.
