DODGE CITY- Roland “George” Kerbs died peacefully in his sleep on his 72nd n birthday of a heart attack on Monday, March 7, 2022 at his home in Dodge City, Kansas. He was born in Greeley, Colorado the son of Reuben and Frieda (Winder) Kerbs.
Helen Swearengin, 77, Minneola, KS, passed away on April 26, 2022. She was born July 3, 1944.

Dodge City Community College Tech hosted a Career Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, April 26. At the event, representatives from seven area employers were on hand to discuss career paths with DCCC tech students. April has brought us a week of cooler temperatures, with the ground covered with snow one morning. It didn’t last long, and the green grass is again showing. The Lady Aces swept Chaparral in a two-game series Tuesday night. In the first game, the Lady Aces featured a strong performance by Halie Feikert tallying four hits and leading the Lady Aces to a 16-7 win over Chaparral.
