Football camp season is in full swing across the state and this week in Dodge City coach Glenn O’Neil is getting athletes ready with his annual camp for middle schoolers. “We had between 42-45 on the first day of camp,” O’Neil said.
During a May staff report to the Dodge City Commission, city manager Nick Hernandez shared some insight regarding the length of trains. “I think everyone has felt the train pains lately,” Hernandez said.

Our daughter, Paris Nicole Carmona, passed away unexpectedly, at the young age of 17, due to intracerebral brain hemorrhage after bravely fighting for 2 weeks in Intensive Care. Paris was born on August 26, 2004 in Dodge City, Kansas to Shawn and Kelly (Schroeder) Carmona and proud older brother, Roman.
The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) and Dodge City Raceway Park (DCRP) present the Wild West NTPA Grand Nationals -- two nights of competition July 8 and 9.
