Last week’s scrimmages are in the books and local teams are now preparing for their week one opponents this week. These scrimmages are more than just a chance for coaches to evaluate their teams a final time before regular-season openers.

The contest started with a display of defense over the first four series of the game as the teams combined for -1 yards and were unable to get a first down.
