2) Last week we took a brief look at the history of The Salvation Army Red Kettles and learned that the tradition started in San Francisco, California in 1891, 131 years ago! The Red Kettle has evolved a bit over the years from the fisherman’s crab pot, but one thing remains the same, the caring persons behind the Red Kettle.
