The Dodge City Red Demons fought hard but ultimately fell to the Great Bend Panthers 72-56 in Friday night’s Western Athletic Conference (WAC) matchup. Despite the loss, Dodge City saw key performances from standout players, but it wasn’t enough to slow down Great Bend’s dominant offensive attack.
The Dodge City Red Demons wrestling team will be well-represented at the state tournament this weekend after six wrestlers secured their spots at the Class 6A West Regionals in Garden City. Despite finishing in eighth place as a team, the Red Demons had several standout individual performances that earned them a trip to state.
The Cimarron Bluejays wrapped up their regular season Friday, Feb. 21 with a tough road matchup against Scott City inside the Scott Community Events Center.
