The Spearville Varsity Lancers baseball team had a challenging Monday as they fell in both games of a doubleheader against the Holcomb Longhorns. Despite out-hitting Holcomb in the first game, the Lancers were unable to capitalize on their offensive opportunities and ultimately lost 16-6. In the second game, the Lancers fell 12-2, as Holcomb’s consistent offense and strong pitching proved too much to overcome.
