The Dodge City Red Demons cross country team battled through tough conditions Thursday at the Swather Special, held at Bethel College after heavy rains forced the meet to move from Hesston’s golf course. Despite a longer, rougher course, Dodge City placed third overall with 36 points, trailing only Andale (17) and Garden City (22).
