The Dodge City Lady Demon tennis team showcased grit and depth on Tuesday as they hosted their annual home invitational, finishing 4th overall in a tightly contested field. Dodge City tallied 42 points on the day, just behind Liberal (44) and Garden City (48), while Great Bend claimed the team title with 60 points.

The Fort Hays State men’s golf team wrapped up competition at the NSU Men’s Classic on Sept.15-16 at Page Belcher Golf Course in Tulsa, finishing 16th in the team standings at 20-over par. The Tigers showed steady improvement through the three-round event, highlighted by a strong performance from sophomore Cooper Scheck, a Dodge City High School alumnus.
After cruising past Wichita Trinity with an 8-0 win on Saturday, the Dodge City Red Demon soccer team returned home Tuesday night for their first Western Athletic Conference test of the season. In a tightly contested battle with the Liberal Redskins, the Red Demons came up short, dropping a 3-1 decision at Memorial Stadium.
Philomath began our new year welcoming 21 members and one associate member at the Methodist Church Parlor on Friday, Sept. 12, with a salad luncheon. Members were greeted with a fall theme hosted by this year’s Yearbook Committee.
