Work has begun on the historic First National Bank building in Downtown Dodge City! According to the City of Dodge City the interior is being demolished due to water damage, pigeon damage, and mold. Repairs will be made to the building then it will be resold by the city to a developer. Plans are in the works for Stan Herd, the original artist and his team to hopefully repaint the iconic stage coach mural.[PHOTO BY Josh Roesner]
