Bucklin – Joshua Wayne William – 36 yrs. Died February 3, 2022 at Hilltop House in Bucklin, Kansas. He was born on October 21, 1985 in Grove, Oklahoma the son of Roxsanna (William) Barnett and Michael Barnett.

He gained title of Uncle in 2010. He loved playing with his nephews. His favorite things to do in his spare time was listening to music, playing with noisy toys, hot wheel cars, being outdoors, and watching Nascar races with his family. Joshua was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. He loved watching his favorite movies “The Polar Express and Twister”. Joshua never got tired of watching them.

Joshua left his mark on anyone he met. He always had an infectious smile and laughter that would always brighten someone’s day.

He always knew when you needed a hug and gave them freely. Joshua never met a stranger and always seen them as friends and family. He had changed people’s lives for the better. Joshua was a teacher of showing us how to love unconditionally. He was very onery. He would kick you when you were not looking. Then laugh about it thinking it was funny. He is survived by his mother; Roxsanna. two brothers; Dennis Barnett and Levi Barnett; one sister; Amber Adkins and husband Brian; Two nephews; Jakobe Adkins and Zander Adkins. He is preceded in death by his father; Michael Barnett; Grandmother Lana Parker; Grandfather E.C. William.

Funeral service will be held at the Federated Church in Spearville, Kansas on Thursday February 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Silent Land Cemetery in Spearville. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Joshua William Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
