“I like to have fun without any problems,” SWK Security owner James Miller said from his headquarters in Cimarron March 20. “When there’s a problem, it kills the vibe.” In that sense, the father of seven is a diesel mechanic in Copeland by day and a vibe saver wherever he dons the SWK Security hissing snake logo. “To me, having a security company allows me to provide back to the community so that it’s safe,” he said. “My favorite part of this job is having people come up and shake our hands and tell us they appreciate us being there.
