The 9/11 Day of Remembrance Tree Planting Service was held in remembrance of those who lost their lives during the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001. Trees were planted at 7:45 a.m., 8:03 a.m., 8:45 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. to coincide with the plane crashes. Mayor Kent Smoll spoke during the tree planting ceremony Tuesday morning.
