DODGE CITY – Patrick Smith, 57, died Friday, October 7, 2022 at his home in Dodge City.

He was born July 31, 1965 at Liberal, Kansas, the son of William E. and Wanda F. (Wycoff) Smith. He was a graduate of Forgan High School in Forgan, Oklahoma. A Dodge City resident for the past 32 years, he worked in the warehouse for Stanion Wholesale Electric for the past 2 years.

He loved spending time with his sister, Laura, his kids and grandkids as well as family in Montana, Idaho and Washington. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Denver Broncos and OU fan and despised the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include: 4 children, Rhiannon Noyes, Winfield, Kansas, Aaron Koehn and wife Loni, Wichita, Aubrie McPhaul and husband Brenton, Jacksonville, North Carolina and Ariel Brommer, Dodge City; 2 sisters, Suellen Countryman and husband Jim, Douglass, Kansas and Laura Smith, Dodge City; and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandfathers, 2 grandmothers, a nephew, an aunt and 3 uncles.

Memorial services will be Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Dusty Cookson officiating. There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place.
