John Bradley Andrews

John Bradley Andrews, 67, of Dodge City, Kansas passed away peacefully on January 2, 2023. He was born in Denver, Colorado on November 3, 1955. He grew up in Hudson, Colorado where he enjoyed hunting, 4-H/FFA, livestock judging and showing livestock in his youth. Following high school, he attended Texas Christian University’s Farm and Ranch Management program in Fort Worth, Texas.

Through his life he farmed and ranched in Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma. He was known to be great with livestock. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to neighbors and those in need, including service on the volunteer fire department. John supported youth in agriculture in many ways, including serving on the Weld Central FFA Advisory Board for many years. He enjoyed cattle and horses, cowboy cooking, western history, and having a good laugh with his friends and family. John is survived by his wife, LuAnne of Hudson, Colorado; daughter Kristen, (Joel) Winter of Dodge City, Kansas; son, Casey Andrews of Hudson, Colorado; loyal dog, Chief; and numerous friends and extended family. John will be dearly missed but never forgotten by all who knew and loved him.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
