FORD Jacqueline Ann Doody, 66, died Monday, February 6, 2023 at Minneola District Hospital, Minneola, Kansas. She was born on December 17, 1956 at Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of Earl and Evelyn (Schmidt) Tompkins. She was a lifetime area resident. Jacque volunteered with the American Red Cross attending to many disasters and lending a hand wherever needed. She also was a volunteer Firefighter and EMT for Ford County. She had different jobs throughout the years, oil field geologist, KDOT, and was the owner of JD Truck Escort.

She was a lifelong learner, always taking online classes and learning what ever she could. She loved her family especially her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews she was known to spoil them quite often. Jacque enjoyed traveling, being in the outdoors, and cooking and baking for the family get togethers. She is survived by her 2 sisters, Tracy Weyers, Monroe, Iowa and Sandy Koehn and husband Lane, Lenexa, Kansas; 4 brothers, Terry Tompkins and wife Ruth, Cheney, Kansas, Alan Tompkins, Hydro, Oklahoma, Kenneth Tompkins and wife Tami, Ford, Kansas and Ronald Tompkins, Ford, Kansas; 13 nieces and nephews; 27 great nieces and nephews and 1 greatgreat nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece, Kathy, a nephew, Tanner and a great nephew, Drake. There will be a come and go celebration of life held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Ford Community Church Fellowship Hall. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
