DODGE CITY – Arlene Faye Randle, 89, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Attica Long-term Care, Attica, Kansas. She was born on September 30, 1932 in Beaver County, Oklahoma the daughter of Elias and Esther (Issac) Ratzlaff. She worked as a secretary for the Kansas Department of Transportation, retiring in 2009.

She was a member of St. Cornelius Episcopal Church, Dodge City. Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family especially cooking for them. She loved playing cards and dominoes. She enjoyed outings especially eating the occasional frosty and fries! On November 5, 1950 she married Tom Randle at Concord Missionary Church, Minneola. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2001. Survivors include: her daughter, Debbie Randle, Medicine Lodge, Kansas; her brother, Donald L. Ratzlaff, Olathe, Kansas; sister, Vivian R. Luce, Great Bend, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Steven Michael and Thomas Edward Randle, her brother, H.A. Ratzlaff, and sister, Katherine M. McCalla.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City with Fr. John Seatvet presiding. Private family inurnment will follow. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may sign the register Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel.
