Survivors include his wife, Karen, daughter, Shannon (Kris) Meis, granddaughter, Lauren (Nathan) Cox, grandson Logan Meis (Sopaneda Choun), great-grandchildren Cambri and Creed Cox, nephews Hugo (Maritza) Teufel, and Kevin (Shannan) Kimble.
