TOPEKA — Tax revenue to the state of Kansas in October exceeded projections of analysts for the 27th consecutive month by adding $704 million to the government treasury — more than $70 million greater than forecast.
Streetscape Project Phase 1: Central Avenue the center of attention as construction kicks off
When one street closes new sidewalks will open to ensure a the flow of traffic in downtown Dodge City is not interrupted during the first phase of the Downtown Streescape Project Starting Monday, Nov. 7, Central Avenue will be closed from Vine Street to the north side of Gunsmoke Street for reconstruction. Vine Street and Gunsmoke Street will remain open to traffic. This will kick off the first phase of the much-anticipated Downtown Streetscape project. This initial phase is anticipated to take six months.
