Chicken Casserole 12 slices bread 2–3 cups cooked and diced chicken 1 cup chicken broth 1 cup milk 4 eggs 1/4 cup butter, melted salt and pepper 8 ounces shredded or sliced cheese, desired variety 1 can cream of chicken soup, diluted according to instructions on the can cracker or cornflake crumbs Arrange bread slices in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cover with chicken.
Main Street Dodge City is excited to announce the eleventh annual Trick-or-Treat Downtown event, which will be held on Saturday, October 29th in historic Downtown Dodge City. All children are invited downtown that morning to trick-or-treat at the 35+ participating businesses from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a $1 hamburger feed for the first 500 people starting at 11:30 am on Gunsmoke St between 2nd and 3rd Avenue.
Two local early-career teachers are considered so exceptional they were nominated by colleagues and selected to be featured in the K-State College of Education’s “Crash the Class” video series. Sunnyside School’s Graciella Reynoso, and Miller Elementary’s Amanda Silva, were surprised by Debbie Mercer, dean of the College of Education, and a small film crew earlier this month.
