The Bucklin Red Aces baseball team swept their opponent in two games Thursday night over the Kinsley Coyotes to start the season 2-0. In the first game the Red Aces built a four-run lead in the fourth inning and then held off Kinsley Varsity Coyotes’s charge for a 4-3 victory.
Saturday’s game against Andover was a heartbreaker for the Dodge City Red Demons, as they lost the lead late in both games. In the first game the Red Demons lost 2-1 and the second game lost 7-5.
