Bert LeRoy Turner, age 80, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2021 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS in the care of Hospice. Bert was preceded in death by his parents, two nieces, step-father Eugene “Olie” Crawford and all his beloved grandparents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother and guardian Gary (Mary Racette) of Dodge City, KS, sister Betty Bretz (Don) of Wamego, KS, half sister Patricia (John) Hubl of Nebraska City, NE and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services were at 11:30 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Fairview Cemetery in Smith Center, KS.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to the donors charity of choice in Bert’s honor or Hospice of Hays, KS and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
