GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Patrick Mahomes was magical when the Kansas City Chiefs desperately needed him to pull off another Super Bowl comeback. Playing on an injured ankle, Mahomes threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and scrambled 26 yards on the go-ahead drive before Harrison Butker kicked a 27-yard field goal with 8 seconds left to give the Chiefs a 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

HUD to benefit low-income seniors

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Multifamily Housing Programs announced today new guidance to reinforce the importance of required supportive service programs and the many allowable uses of supportive services funds to support independent living for seniors. The guidance applies to owners of properties participating in project-based rental assistance contracts (PRACs) under HUD’s Multifamily Section 202 Supportive Housing for Low-Income Elderly program and includes details for the provision of individual services such as meal programs, and services such as transportation and health and wellness programs that can benefit the entire community at a property.

Friday, February 10, 2023, Philomath was hosted in the home of Beth Love assisted by co-hostess Dottie Riekenberg. Valentines were our table theme, a natural for the LOVE residence. We were served dessert to match the holiday and little Valentine gnomes and conversation hearts as a take home treat. President Beth called the meeting to order and 17 members answered roll call telling their plans for the big game on Sunday. A welcome was extended to a new member, Mary Hall. The yearbook committee for 20232024 was announced; Jayne Shalby, Denise Parker and Janice Scott.
