Western State Bank & American Implement announce 2023 Ag Future Scholarship Program

American Implement and Western State Bank are pleased to announce the return of their annual scholarship program for western Kansas area students. The program, titled Ag Future Scholarships, will provide a total of ten $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors or current college students who will be enrolled in a college or technical school in fall 2023 and who are pursuing an Ag-related program or degree.

The life of George Hoover

He started the very first business in Dodge City when he opened a watering hole for the soldiers, buffalo hunters and traders that had been denied the use of Fort Dodge’s “saloon.” George M. Hoover was a French-Canadian born on August 8, 1847.
