More than 75,000 Kansans and 10,000 housing and service providers have received more than $250 million in rental and utility assistance, preventing thousands of evictions and providing vital services to more than 30,000 families at risk of losing their homes. Look into the library this week!

There are some new programs “growing on” at the Dodge City Public Library this week. First, on Tuesday Oct. 11, we have a plant and seed exchange event. This event is a swap event for all the gardeners and house plant enthusiasts out there. The idea is simple, bring a plant, a package of seeds (hand gathered from your garden or purchased from a store), or even a healthy cutting from a plant and swap it for a different one. The guidelines for this event state all participants bring one thing to swap but you can always bring more. We do ask that no invasive or illegal species or seeds be used for this event. So, bring your garden knowledge or questions, a healthy plant or seeds to exchange, and come chat with us!
