Road work on 14th Avenue Starting Monday, Sept. 19 after 8 a.m., the north-bound bridge of 14th Avenue over the Arkansas River will be closed for repairs. The repair work will be done on the girders located under the bridge. No work will be done to the bridge deck, and all work will take place from the riverbed.
The Wright Park Zoo will be closing to the public until further notice, starting Sunday, Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. Zoo staff is currently working to find temporary and sanctuary homes that will provide nurturing and safe facilities for the animals.
