U.S. Department of Commerce invests $4.5 million in American Rescue Plan funds for wastewater, electrical infrastructure to support new business development in Kansas

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced Aug. 18 that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is investing $4.5 million in the state of Kansas to construct wastewater and electrical infrastructure needed to support new business development in the state. These grants are funded by the American Rescue Plan.

HPPR blues DJ ‘Brother T-Bone’ celebrates 25 years on air

On Aug. 4, AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers, serving Ford, Hodgeman and Ness counties through the Fort Hays State University Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs, attended their monthly in-service meeting at the Senior Center in Dodge City. The guest speaker for the meeting was Ethel Schneweis, from the Ford County Extension Office, who presented tips on stress management.
