Salvation Army receives charitable gift from ITC Great Plains for thrift store relocation, expansion

The Salvation Army of Dodge City is pleased to announce that it received a $10,000 charitable gift from ITC Great Plains, a transmission-only utility, on Thursday, June 23 for the relocation and expansion of its Thrift Store from its current location on Avenue E to 1500 East Wyatt Earp Blvd.

DCCC Trustees prepare for fall semester

It seemed to the Dodge City Community College Board of Trustees that graduation had just occurred and yet already they are making way for incoming students for the fall semester. President Harold Nolte, Vice Chair Kathy Ramsour, Mia Schraeder-Korbelik, Bill Turley, Kelly Henrichs and Jammie Philips were present at the June 28 meeting.

Day 12, Kansas Wheat harvest report

This is day 12 of the Kansas Wheat Harvest Reports brought to you by the Kansas Wheat Commission, Kansas Association of Wheat Growers and the Kansas Grain and Feed Association. Trevor Cox, field agronomist, with Central Valley Ag Co-op in Clay Center, reported that harvest began in their area on June 23.
