Happy Retirement Jose!!!!

Today is Jose’s last working day with Cargill after a long and rewarding career. Jose joined Cargill in April of 1990 as a Tender Puller. After six months he moved to the Refrigeration Department where he showed his skills and was promoted to a Lead Refrigeration Mechanic.

DCCC Trustees prepare for fall semester

It seemed to the Dodge City Community College Board of Trustees that graduation had just occurred and yet already they are making way for incoming students for the fall semester. President Harold Nolte, Vice Chair Kathy Ramsour, Mia Schraeder-Korbelik, Bill Turley, Kelly Henrichs and Jammie Philips were present at the June 28 meeting.

DCCC TRIO Programs seek to catapult kids through higher education

Gregory Roberts is not a Dodge City Community College recruiter, but he certainly is a valuable resource for the college and the community. He spoke at a recent meeting of the Dodge City Rotary Club on the merits of the college’s TRIO programs, which aims to send local students to college wherever their heart desires, as long as they stay in school.
