Ford County Commissioners voted to increase the rates for ambulance service, lifted the burn ban and discussed Sunday beer sales in the unincorporated areas of the county at their May 16 meeting. Chairman Chris Boys and Commissioner Shawn Tasset were present.

A nice little reference library is just the tip of the iceberg for the historical morsels the society unearthed from the basement of the Home of Stone, where it has stored items for many years.
