As Google Voice scam proliferates, Better Business Bureau offers advice

Among the many scams that always seem to be proliferating, there is one that has been successfully victimizing people online for several months. It targets those who post about things like a missing pet or those trying to sell household items – in other words, anyone posting an ad on one of the many online marketplace sites. Your Better Business Bureau (BBB) warns that fraudsters are tirelessly out to steal identities. Here’s how this scam works and how you can guard against it.

DCCC professor selected as Astronomy Ambassador

Dodge City Community College Professor of Physical Science, Sherry Curtis Rogers, was selected recently by the SETI Institute as one of the 2022 NASA Airborne Astronomy Ambassadors (AAA). Founded in 1984, the SETI Institute is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary research and education organization whose mission is to understand the origins and prevalence of life and intelligence in the universe and to share that knowledge with the world.
