Boot Hill Distillery had such success lifting the spirits of thirsty people during COVID-19 quarantine that it needs more space to supply a spillover in demand for its “seed-to-sip” spirits. The seeds come from Kelman Farms in Sublette and the sips are distilled and served in the historic building at 501 W.

$10 Fanatics e-gift card, chance at trip to 2022 MLB All-Star Game for donors in March For a limited time, the American Red Cross has resumed testing all blood, platelet and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies. Plasma from routine donations that have high levels of COVID-19 antibodies may be used as convalescent plasma to help meet the needs of COVID-19 patients with weakened immune systems.
Oxford House raffles off tickets to rock

Community garden plots are available
For the green thumbs in the community, The Sunflower Community Garden in Dodge City has plots available. According to community garden president Daniel Tague, Sunflower Community Gardens are located at a couple locations in Dodge City.

First Baptist Church in Dodge City was founded in 1885 and was originally located at Cedar Street and Sixth Avenue (east of Lincoln School). That building was later moved to Second Avenue and Spruce Street.
Community Foundation looks to match funds with Depot Theater
The challenge has been laid down. The upcoming “Giving of the Green” Matching Funds Challenge will be coming this St. Patrick’s Day on March as the Depot Theater in Dodge City announced that the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas will match 50 cents on the dollar for donations made to the Depot Theater, Inc. Endowment Fund.
