Western State Bank, American Implement announce 2022 Ag Future Scholarship Program

GARDEN CITY – American Implement and Western State Bank announced the return of their annual scholarship program for western Kansas area students. The program, titled Ag Future Scholarships, will provide a total of 10, $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors or current college students who will be enrolled in a college or technical school in fall 2022 and who are pursuing an Ag-related program or degree.

Leah Johnson art exhibit coming in March to Stauth Museum

MONTEZUMA – The Stauth Memorial Museum is seeking artwork from collectors who may have a Leah Johnson piece for its upcoming exhibition in March. According to museum executive director Heather Urich, the work of local artist Johnson, will be on display from March 22 through May 14. “Leah was a Montezuma resident who painted to support her family after her husband passed away in the 1950s,” said Urich in a news release.
