The year 2022 will continue to be a milestone of history for Dodge City and many locations that have been mainstays throughout including the Dodge City Public Library. The library this year will be celebrating its 115th birthday and is seeking local artists to mark the occasion.
According to Dodge City USD 443 deputy superintendent of curriculum and instruction Scott Springston, a presentation was made to the Dodge City USD 443 Board of Education for final approval on the 2022-23 grades 6-12 science and social studies materials for the district.

A $300,000 Community Block Development Grant was awarded to the City of Dodge City on Feb. 10 to go towards the Community Housing Association of Dodge City.
