An important milestone has been reached at Dodge City Regional Airport as on Dec. 23, the 8,000th passenger was flown, setting the record for most passengers flown in Dodge City in a single year.
The Carnegie Center for the Arts Director and Board of Directors would like to acknowledge and thank the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas for the grant recently awarded to us. We were generously awarded a $5000 grant to use toward updating and renovating the bathrooms and kitchen in the building.

During a tour of Kansas, the American Legion National Vice-commander Angel Narvaez recently visited Dodge City and its American Legion Post 47. According to Charles Sellens with the American Legion in Dodge City, Kansas was the second of eight states that Narvaez visited, accompanied by Kansas Department Commander Marri Krupco, Kansas Department Vice-commander Jeremy Ehart, Kansas Alternate National Executive Committeeman Ray Vail and Kansas Adjutant Jimmie Foster.
