He was born in Spearville, KS on November 24, 1933 to Albert and Meta (Weiss) Mehl, the oldest of 4 children and grew up on the family farm in Edwards County, KS helping out with early morning and late evening chores.

CIMAR- R O N - Kaelyn Lee Schoder, 3, died, Saturday, May 28, 2022 at St. Catherine’s in Dodge City, Kansas. Kaelyn had been sick and began having difficulty breathing. She would ultimately succumb to associated complications of her heart conditions and brain damage.
