Marilyn Crook

Marilyn Y. Crook, age 92, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the Ranch House in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on December 21, 1929, in Burrton, Kansas, the daughter of Harry & Nyra Devenpeck Grover. A resident of Garden City, Kansas since 1958 moving from Satanta, Kansas, she was a seamstress and co-owner of the Tailor Shop in Garden City, Kansas for 30 years.

ANDREW W. CRESWELL

Andrew W Creswell died February 22, 2022 at the age of 94. He was residing in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He went home to be with his heavenly father, wife and many friends and co-workers. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan February 25, 1927. He attended Muskingham College in New Concord, Ohio. He then served his country in the US Navy. He then attended Fuller Theological Seminary and later Pitt Xenia Seminary. He married Margaret M. Mehaffey August 31, 1951. He also acquired a daughter, Mary Katherine Mehaffey. He pastored the Minneola Community church from 1952 to 1958. He and his family then served in the Sudan Interior Mission in Omderman, Sudan. There he founded the Gideon Theological Seminary that still exists today. He then served ELWA mission in Liberia. Here he preached and taught over the radio to all of Africa. His grasp of Arabic was so good the people hearing did not know he was an American. He then pastored in Jordan and then back to the Sudan. After the death of his wife he continued to go back to Sudan to work with the seminary students. He is survived by his daughter Mary Katherine Creswell Trotter and husband, R.C Trotter, MD, Dodge City, Kansas and three grandchildren, Shannon, Courtney and Seth and eight great grandchildren

Pauline Schnitzler

Dodge City - Pauline Schnitzler, 89, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 25, 2022. She was born on October 14, 1932 in Spearville, the daughter of Albert and Jettie King. Pauline lived most of her life in Dodge City. She worked many years in civil service for the Air Force, several years for the Dodge City Inn, as well as office staff for Grace Community Church. Pauline enjoyed life and involved herself in Bible reading, and sewing - especially making quilts.
