Bert LeRoy Turner, age 80, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2021 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS in the care of Hospice. Bert was preceded in death by his parents, two nieces, step-father Eugene “Olie” Crawford and all his beloved grandparents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother and guardian Gary (Mary Racette) of Dodge City, KS, sister Betty Bretz (Don) of Wamego, KS, half sister Patricia (John) Hubl of Nebraska City, NE and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services were at 11:30 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Fairview Cemetery in Smith Center, KS.

Carl Ross Bjork

Carl Ross Bjork, 76, passed away December 20, 2021, at the Robert J Dole VA Medical Center, Wichita. He was born July 30, 1945, in a Lutheran Children’s Home in Richmond, Virginia. That same day his loving adoption parents, Stanley & Donna Bjork, were there to receive him as their own. They immediately applied for a girl, and Linnea Roseann became his sister in 1948. In 1951, the family moved to Colorado and the Bjork legacy continued.
