Dear Editor,I am writing to encourage readers to consider adopting pets who were abandoned by their owners in the middle of the street like my blind Pomeranian “Missy” was 13 years ago.“Missy” gave me more than a decade of love and companionship as I drove truck for National Carriers out of Liberal and through Dodge City for 27 years.
