Circle would tie the game up moments later in the match but that was as close as it would be. Karime Rueda and Emilia Herrera would each score a goal to help secured a 3-1 victory over Circle.

The Dodge City High School boys tennis team had four individuals qualify for the 6A state tennis tournament at the regional tournament and finished in second place in their regional meet. The Red Demons doubles team of Marcel Perez and Adan Romero earned a sixth place finish at the 6A regional tournament and will head into the state tournament with a record of 6-5.

The Dodge City baseball team came up short at the Spartan Classic in Emporia as they close out the weekend with a 8-3 loss on Saturday May 6 to Mill Valley. The Red Demon fall to 7-10 on the season and will return to action on May 9 as they host Liberal.
Dodge City softball team put together a run in the Region 6 Tournament to wrap up their season going 2-2 in the tournament as the six seed. The Conquistadors fell in the first round to Colby 9-3 but responded to win their next two elimination games beating Seward County 5-4 and Barton 3-2 to face Colby again in another elimination game.
Dodge City track and field team competed at the Region 6 Outdoor Championships in Coffeyville and put together strong performances. The women’s track squad finished eighth in the Region out of 14 teams totaling 34 points in competition while the men finished 13th in the Region.
