DCCC: Baseball splits nonconference twin bill with Otero

Dodge City baseball welcomed Otero to town for a non-conference twin-bill on Wednesday and would split the doubleheader falling 6-5 in game one and responding with a 5-3 game two win. The split of the doubleheader moved the Conquistadors to 20-20 on the season and up next the Conqs will get back to KJCCC play as they will open a series with Pratt on the road on Thursday, April 13 and then host the Beavers on Saturday, April 15.

Tang Wins Naismith Coach of the Year

Kansas football adds Sean Snyder to staff

Kansas football head coach Lance Leipold announced the addition of coaching veteran Sean Snyder to the staff as special Assistant to the Head Coach according to press release for Kansas Athletics. Snyder, an experienced college football coach for more than 20 years spent the 2022 season as the special teams coordinator/specialists coach at Illinois.

Lady Demons soccer beats Hays

The Lady Demons won 2-1 in overtime against Hays Monday, April 3. Jasmine Ruiz would score both goals of the match. Ruiz would score the first goal of the match in the 2nd half to force overtime and score her second goal in overtime to pick up the victory over Hays.
