Dodge City softball returned to the win column with a doubleheader split in KJCCC play against Seward County as the Conquistadors dropped game one 7-1 but responded with a 7-6 win in game two to snap a 12-game losing streak.
Dodge City baseball welcomed Otero to town for a non-conference twin-bill on Wednesday and would split the doubleheader falling 6-5 in game one and responding with a 5-3 game two win. The split of the doubleheader moved the Conquistadors to 20-20 on the season and up next the Conqs will get back to KJCCC play as they will open a series with Pratt on the road on Thursday, April 13 and then host the Beavers on Saturday, April 15.
Dodge City baseball stepped outside the KJCCC for some early week non-conference action and traveled to Alva, Oklahoma where they took on Northwestern Oklahoma State JV and split a doubleheader falling 8-4 in game one and answering with a game two 7-1 win.

Dodge City softball traveled to El Dorado to open the week and faced off with #16 Butler in a KJCCC doubleheader and ultimately fell 6-0 and 9-1 in five innings. The Conquistadors struggled to get the offense going and suffered the two losses to move them to 12-19 on the season and 7-11 in KJCCC action.
South Gray Rebels secured the top spot on Monday, April 3 in Garden City. The rebels had three golfers in the top 10 with a final score of 325. Turpin finished the day with a second place with a final score of 330. Scott City was third, and Syracuse was fourth.
The Lady Demons won 2-1 in overtime against Hays Monday, April 3. Jasmine Ruiz would score both goals of the match. Ruiz would score the first goal of the match in the 2nd half to force overtime and score her second goal in overtime to pick up the victory over Hays.
The Red Demons freshman baseball team swept their rival Garden City High School, winning game one by a score of 12-1 and game two by a score of 10-0. The Red Demons totaled 16 hits and were led by Bladen Bogner.
