The basketball action in The Dome (Student Activity Center) isn’t quite over for the school year as Dodge City Community College is set to be the first stop on the annual University of Kansas 2023 Barnstorming Tour which will feature KU men’s basketball players from this past season.

The Bucklin Lady Aces put up 19 runs in the first game and 16 runs in the second game against the Sunrise Christian Academy to sweep on March 25 in Wichita. In the first game Halie Feikert was dialed in at the plate on Friday, tallying four hits and leading the Lady Aces to a 19-1 win over Sunrise Christian Academy.
Dodge City women’s golf is underway with the spring season and recently put together a second-place finish in the first Jayhawk Conference competition in the most recent Golfstat NJCAA rankings are ranked 17th as a team.
The Dodge City High School girls soccer team opened their season with a 10-0 win against Thomas More Prep-Marian Thursday, March 23. The Lady Demons had several players score in this game.
Dodge City baseball continued KJCCC play on Thursday opening a four-game series with Barton as the top two teams in the KJCCC West did battle in a doubleheader in Great Bend. The Conquistadors would take the series opener 3-1 and then split the day falling 13-7 in game two.
