Mike Smith DCCC Sports Information Director For the second straight year the Dodge City football team opened their season facing off with a Top five ranked Iowa Western Reivers team as the Conquistadors traveled to Council Bluffs, Iowa to commence the 2022 season facing off with the #2 ranked Reivers. The contest started with a display of defense over the first four series of the game as the teams combined for -1 yards and were unable to get a first down.

Mike Smith DCCC Sports Information Director Down to the wire it went for the Dodge City men’s soccer in their second game of the season as they went to double overtime with Northeastern and captured a 1-0 victory in the final minutes of the contest. The first half saw Northeastern on the attack as they would outshoot the Conquistadors 6-5 in the first half but neither team was able to record a goal.

The 2022 Kansas high school volleyball season is underway and the Spearville Lancer are already being noticed, as two players make the Top 25 Western Kansas Volleyball Players to Watch list. Those players are Tawney Krominga and Cameron Offerle.

Mike Smith DCCC Sports Information Director Wednesday marked the KJCCC and home opener for the Dodge City volleyball team as they hosted the Hutchinson Blue Dragons. After beating the Blue Dragons for the first time since 2010 last season the Conquistadors were unable to get the better of Hutchinson this time falling in three sets 25-21, 25-20, 25-23.

WICHITA, Kan. – Mass Strategies announced today that Dan Beckler will join the ownership group and serve as President & Chief Operating Officer for Mass St. Collective. Beckler spent the past three years with Kansas Athletics, most recently serving as Senior Associate Athletics Director of Strategic Communications and External Initiatives. Prior to coming to KU, Beckler worked for over a decade in the National Football League, including nine seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and one with the Tennessee Titans.

The Lady Demons Golf Team is looking to make school history this fall with new Head Coach Tyson Clark. Coach Clark has some big shoes to fill this year after taking over the program from Jim Maple.
