DCCC: Supakit Seelanagae earns spot at Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship for second year

Mike Smith DCCC Sports Information Director After a strong freshman campaign for the Dodge City men’s golf team, along with recent performances in his home country of Thailand, Conq golfer, Supakit Seelanagae has earned an invite back to the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship which he competed in last year. Seelanagae will represent his home country of Thailand again at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Championship which will take place Oct.

DCCC: Former Conq golfer Ty Wilson named head women’s golf coach

Mike Smith DCCC Sports Information Director For the second straight year, the Dodge City women’s golf program posted a Top 10 finish at the NJCAA Division I National Championships taking seventh place last year led by the best individual performance in school history a fourth-place finish. The program will now be led by a former Conquistador men’s golfer, Ty Wilson who takes over the program from former coach, Abbi Worden who coached the team from 2019-22.

DCCC: Women’s soccer looks to improve as they prepare for upcoming season

Mike Smith DCCC Sports Information Director It will be a new look for the Dodge City women’s soccer team when they step on the pitch for the 2022 season, as second-year Head Coach Javier Holguin will have a roster filled with brand new faces. After finishing 3-11 in year one, Coach Holguin hopes a full off-season program and period for recruiting will help push the Conquistadors in the right direction and take a step forward in year two under his guidance.
