Back in December 2021, the Wichita- based non-profit organization Outdoor Mentors had an incredible opportunity to upland hunt with Ron Schara from the FLUSH in Western Kansas. Youth from the Dodge City Shooting Sports Team, Larned Shooting Sports Team and two Big Brothers Big Sisters participants hunted alongside mentors and Schara.

Andrew Evans Dodge City Globe One hundred and fifty golfers from across Kansas played in the annual Dodge City Roundup Rodeo “Country Classic” golf tournament Aug. 5 at the Dodge City Country Club’s 18-hole golf course.
Mike Smith DCCC sports information director Dodge City Community College competitive cheer team got their year off and rolling in big fashion competing at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer Camp hosted at Northwest Missouri State University and earned not only one bid to NCA Nationals but two bids this year. After back-to-back years of top-notch performances at NCA Nationals that saw the Conquistador cheer squad capture a National Championship (2021) and National runner-up (2022) finish, the Conqs are set to take two teams to Nationals for the 2023 NCA Cheer National Championships in Daytona, Florida.
