DCHS Softball: Lady Demons drops 2 to TMP

Last Friday the Lady Demons took part in a swimming meet in Salina. The Lady Demons took home a 5th place finish against some tough competition. The Lady Demons brought home some medals with a 2nd place finish in the 500 freestyle by Ashlyn Armstrong. The Lady Demons took home a 2nd place in the 400 free relay by the team of Eva Friess, Ashlyn Armstrong, Paige Mink and Faith Wodziak.

DCCC Track: women’s 4x100m relay national qualifying performance leads Conqs at Thunderbird Classic

Dodge City’s track and field team was led by a national qualifying performance at the Thunderbird Classic hosted by Cloud County in Concordia on Saturday as they continued the outdoor season. The quartet of Brianisha Rolling, Machala Hengen, Krissalynn Henderson, and On’Hay Phillips raced to a time of 48.17 in the 4x100 meter relay and qualified for NJCAA National Outdoor Championships with the performance.

DCHS Boys Golf: Finished 5th

The Dodge City boys golf team finished 5th in their invitational Thursday at Mariah Hills Golf Course. They were led by Cooper Scheck, Aidan Robinson and A J Peters. Scheck carded a 76 while Robinson and Peters came in with 85’s. Other scores were Seth Weber 93,

DCCC: Baseball splits pair of games at Butler to split the series

After a split of the doubleheader on Thursday in Dodge City it was back to action for the Dodge City baseball team on Friday on the road in El Dorado to finish the series with Butler. The Conquistadors would once again have a pair of tight battles on their hands and came away with the split in the doubleheader winning game one 10-8 and falling in 10 innings in game two 16-15 to ultimately split the four-game series.
