Dodge City softball team brought out the brooms on Saturday earning a doubleheader sweep of Garden City at home which gives the Conquistadors the four-game series season sweep over the Broncbusters. The Conqs picked up a pair of close game victories winning 15-13 in game one and 5-4 in game two.

Dodge City women’s golf team brought home another win in Jayhawk Conference tournament action as they competed at Lake Barton golf course in Great Bend for the Jayhawk Match II. The Conquistadors put together a two-round team score of 658 finishing with a 333 first round and 325 second round to win the tournament by nine strokes over Barton who finished second.

Dodge City track and field team competed just down the road at the Broncbuster Invite in Garden City over the weekend and saw some solid performances including a national qualifying mark for one Conquistador.
The Red Demons opened the year by hosting the Southwest KS Relays at Memorial Stadium. This meet had four teams take part in this event and those teams were Garden City, Cheney, Cimarron as well the Red Demons.
The Red Demons girls swimming team opened the year with a second-place finish in Garden City. Garden City had a strong showing as they secured a first-place finish with 628 points, Dodge City had 517 points.
Looking to get back in the win the Dodge City baseball team started another KJCCC four-game series this time opening at home against the top team in the KJCCC West Division the Colby Trojans. The Conquistadors would snap a seven-game losing streak in game one snagging a 6-5 win over the Trojans but would fall in a tough 13-8 battle in game two to the doubleheader split.
For the first time since 2017, the Dodge City men’s basketball team has an individual earn NJCAA All-American honors as Themus Fulks was named second team NJCAA All-American after a great season. Fulks is the first Conquistador since 1984 to earn second-team or higher NJCAA All-American honors.
